There's light at the end of the tunnel of life when you place your life in God's hand.  While we might not always experience the joy of being in the sunshine because we going through a tunnel of trial and heartache, it's important to remember that in the end we win.  We often drove through a tunnel or two while traveling on the Pennsylvania turnpike.  when we entered the tunnel it might be sunny but by the time we exited it might be raining or snowing, we never knew what it would be like on the other side till we arrived.  the same is true in life. Who really knows what it will be like on the other side of trials and difficulty?

The one thing we can know is that on the other side is God waiting to hold us and love us and care for us.  In fact the bible says He never leaves us or forsakes us.  God is there when we enter our tunnel of trials and difficulty and He's there when we exit on the other side.  Life isn't easy and that's why in Hebrews 12:1 it says, " run with endurance the race", the race of life we each face.  It takes a lot of endurance to go through this earthly life.  It takes a brave soul to face the sicknesses, the financial struggles we face, the loss of loved ones and of jobs.  It takes more then desire to face the trials we all encounter in life.  So I hope you'll remember the phrase, "there's light at the end of the tunnel" and instead of thinking in purely human terms, think of God waiting to usher you into a whole new tomorrow having shaped you through the crucible of trials.
