Human ideas developed by fall man are shaping our world today.  Since the fall in the garden mankind has been less then perfect.  This imperfection we call sin.  Since ideas are formulated in the mind of fallen men and women, they are doomed to be flawed in one way or another.

 Isn't it interesting that some claim that all wars were fought over religious bleiefs.  The 20c. was the blodiest century in all history.  However not one war in the 20c. was started over religion.  We could argue that some philosophy that substituted themselves for religion caused wars, like Marxism for example, but no religious organization is responsible in the 20c. for beginning a war.

Maybe we could argue that Islam, which is a religion, was the cause for War in the middle East.  However, True religion as found in the Christian Bible is based on grace, forgivenenss, and pure love.  These purely relgious concepts don't lead to war.  Some claim to have faith but fail to demonstrate grace, mercy, and peace.  These individuals have no clue what the one true God requires of His followers.

But even if we argued that relgion was responsible for many wars, I contend that Christianity is not a religion it's a relationship, and that relationship leads to peace, love, and mercy.  Ask yourself, Did Jesus come to overthrow the Romans empire? Did Jesus seek to destroy the religious establishment? Instead He came to bear witness of the truth and offer salvation to anyone who would choose to believe in Him as Savior and Lord. I contend that man is responsible for war and that we need to stop blaming God for what is truly mans actions.  

Jesus came to set us free from this sin ravaged life.  To free us so we could embrace the life as God meant us to enjoy it.  Christianity brings peace not War. 

Ideas rule the world and the only ideas that can bring peace to this world are the ideas put forth by God in His holy word the Bible.
